Protect
the North Fork
The valley of the North Fork of the Flathead River, west of Glacier National Park, is a special place, rich with wildlife, endowed with clean air and clean water, and blessed with a solitude and civility that are the envy of more "civilized" communities. We wish that the North Fork remain so. Therefore, we the undersigned oppose the paving of the ten miles of the North Fork Road, from the end of the pavement north to the Camas Road, because we believe that:
We ask only for a safe, well maintained, gravel road with prudent speed limits, not a 70-mile-per-hour speedway from Columbia Falls to Glacier National Park. Please print clearly. Items with an asterisk (*) are optional. |
